Devil's Snare

Emma had her first class today in greenhouse 1. "Okay,okay you know that plan smile,and teach." Emma props herself. Emma sits at the head of the class, and waits for her first students to come.

Ginny entered the Greenhouse 1. She smelled the earthy essence of plants. She had studied her Herbology book lots of times, trying to memorize how the plants look and how to identify them. She thought she recognized a few of them, but she wasn't sure. "Hello Professor." She greeted. She noticed that she was the first student, which was a surprise for her as Peeves kept throwing ink at her. It must have been because she came out extra early, hoping to be early to class.

"Hello dear... I'll need to wait a while till class starts,but it will begin at 4 or so,but please read a little on how to save someone from a Devil's Snare." Emma says putting the spots together.

Angel walked into Herbology, hoping she wasn't late seeing as though her week was already full of detention. Sighing she wandered to the back and plopped into a seat, feeling dark vibes comeing from the plants.

"Hello saying it's my first day I'll shall give no detention for you being late,but I need some more people for my lesson shall be very fun I guess." Emma tells Miss.Goode seeing how things were going. "What is Herbology?" Emma asked the small group.

Marisa comes into Herbology,and sits by Ginny. "Hey Ginny." Marisa says sliding into the seat.

Ginny had been rereading about Devil Snares, when Marisa sat down next to her. "Hello Marisa." She greeted. She recognized another 3rd year girl from her other classes. When the Professor asked the question on what Herbology is, her hand shot straight into the air. "Herbology is where we learn about magical plants and how to learn, utilize, and care for the plants. " She said.

Jace walked into class and noticed that it had already started, smirking he sat next to Angel.

"Good Miss.McCall. Now today we talk about the Devil's Snare, and once we know the basic of it we shall go see it in action." Emma announced walking around. "I love groups,so please find a partner." Emma pulls out her spell book,and looks for the spell she'll need later.

"Ginny want to be my partner?" Marisa asked Ginny.

Ginny nods. "Sure." She said, she didn't know anyone else in this class, so Marisa would be a good partner.

Lyra walked into Herbology class. Seeing that she was late, she quickly takes a seat.

"Miss.Nerina please choose a group to be in." Emma tells the late student.

Ginny looks up and notices Lyra. "Hey Lyra." She greeted her. SHe looked back at the Professor, wondering what they where going to do with partners, and a Devil's Snare.

"Okay class I need to know if you know the basic info on the Devil's Snare. Do you know where the Devil's Snare is endemic to, what it's natural environment is like,what plant is it most likely related to,and what it cannot stand?" Emma asked the small class.

Ginny raise her hand. SHe was quite glad she had memorized these facts, last night.

"Yes Miss.McCall." Emma says calling on the student.

"The Devil's Snare is commonly found in Scotland. Its environment is in dark and damp places. Also, this plant looks like the Flitterbloom plant, which it is sometimes confused with. It can't stand light or flame, or anything that gives off heat." She said, answering all the questions. She hoped she was right on all of them.

"Correct now that we know,stay together!" Emma commands the class. Emma mutter a incantation the class spins around,and than there in a dark, and damp place. "Watch out for the Devil's Snare." Emma tells the class.

Ginny nods, and sees the classroom disappear, and suddenly they were in a dark, damp place. Quite slimy also. She felt nervous, this place could have Devil Snares anywhere. She shivered. She was quite glad she had broughten her notebook, looking around, she saw many plants. Though it was quite hard to see.

"Now stay clam." Emma says. The plant vain slightly come after her.

Lyra walked over to join Ginny's group. She looked around in surprise as their classroom disappeared and they seemed to be in a dungeon. She stepped closer to Ginny, feeling nervous.

Ginny noticed Lyra had stepped closer to her. She looked around and noticed some moving plants, could they be Devil's Snares? She felt very vulnerable in this environment. It was quite dark so it was hard to tell which plant was which. Everytime she felt something nudge her foot, she jumped since she was startled. In her opinion, being in someplace dark, even if it was quiet, with Devil's Snares wasn't her idea of a paradise.

"I know this may scare some of you,but I need to know if you can save someone.Now Ginny try to save the person in your group,Angel do the same." Emma says floating up a bit,the near by Devil's Snare grabs Lyra by the waist ,and Jacd. "Save them." Emma smiles.

Ginny looked at the teacher in surprise. Me? Save Lyra? she thought. She looked at Lyra, and pointed her wand at the Devil's SNare, and said "Lumos Maxima!" SHe looked at Lyra, and hoped the spell worked.
